Medicine and Traditional medicine
The article proposes a new approach to study traditional medicine, in particular herbalism, in developing countries.
The proposed approach is as follows:

Toxicological study in two species of animal for acute and subacute toxicity

Experimental evaluation of the activity for which the plant or combination of plants is used
-
Clinical evaluation for efficacy in humans
The purpose is to translate traditional practices into scientific application.
