PARTNERS
AMEB is an association of the Somali diaspora based in Milan. Promoted by volunteers, it acts as cultural bridge between Italy and Somalia, implementing initiatives of social cohesion and co-development in both countries. Since its foundation, AMEB has developed initiatives of cultural exchange, world citizenship education, support to medical assistance for Somali children who needed surgery interventions abroad, social entrepreneurship.
IPSIA is a non-governmental organization established in Italy in 1985 to promote values of peace, social justice and cooperation, with a special focus on youth empowerment. Actually IPSIA is operating in Africa and Europe where it leads a number of interventions in the areas of Sustainable Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Environment Protection, Social Entrepreneurship, Migrations, Education and Child Protection. A priority of IPSIA is the engagement of migrants’ association in development programs, a strategy that has been experienced in Senegal, Albania and Somalia.
GRT is a non-governmental organization, established in Italy in 1968, whose interventions focuses on Community Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Protection (SGBV- Sexual and Gender Based Violence, Street Children), support to ethnic minorities and (forced) Migrations, being expression of GRT’s core areas of expertise. The organization is mainly constituted by members which are involved in promoting social justices in the world, including social workers, psychologists, anthropologists, teachers, and doctors among others. This vision is mirrored in the implementation approach promoted by GRT: taking into account local available resources, empowering local staff and experts, promoting education and training to enhance local sustainability and projects ownership.
